Dr. Jeff Baggett
“I love being a dentist! There isn’t anything I would rather do than help people have a healthy, beautiful smile.”
I’ve known that I wanted to be a dentist since I was a kid. I earned my undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and my Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma. But make no mistake about it, I’m an OSU fan, through and through.
I’ve spent the last 30+ years practicing but also continuing to learn. Because I want you to receive the best care possible, I’ve spent countless hours in post-graduate training at the L.D. Pankey Institute, which is recognized worldwide for its excellence in advanced technical dentistry. My desire is to provide you with the very best dentistry available, which is one of the reasons why I worked to earn the designation of Pankey Scholar.
I’m a visiting faculty member at the Pankey Institute now and I also have the privilege of teaching other dentists at various dental meetings and study clubs across the country. I’ve written sections of two published books (Photoshop CS3 and PowerPoint 2007 for the Dental Professional). I also have the honor of being the team dentist for the Oklahoma City Thunder, along with Dr. Lembke.
I’m proud of my profession so I’m an active member of many dental organizations, including the Oklahoma Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma County Dental Society, the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the McGarry Study Club, the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry Alumni Association and the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association. I have served on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma County Dental Society and currently serve on the L.D. Pankey Dental Foundation Board of Advisors.
My wife, Becky, and I love our community and so we support it by volunteering with the Edmond Bicycle Committee, the Free to Live Animal Sanctuary and the Victim’s Impact Panel Against Drunk Driving.
Something you may not know about Jeff: His dad was an Air Force fighter pilot. During his childhood, Jeff, his brothers, his mom and dad made their home in Florida, Georgia, Japan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia and Washington State.
